Outbound Sales Representative

Job Description


An outbound sales representative’s asset is his/her ability to be persuasive. Since the majority of an outbound sales representative’s time is spent talking on the phone, he/she must convincingly communicate over the phone. These representatives must also be able to work comfortably in a busy office environment.



  • Doing outbound calls.
  • Take ownership of each call in a proactive approach with customer queries in terms of follow up and escalation.
  • Maintain an up-to-date level of product and procedural knowledge by being attentive to and acting upon information advised.
  • Meet and exceed sales and productivity targets.

  • Persuasive selling and negotiating ability.
  • Ability to appropriately communicate with customers & colleagues.
  • Professional telephone manner essential.
  • A highly motivated and enthusiastic individual.
